I have been looking for some methods for a while. I can't wait to check it out. Will report back and see if it's still effective in 2018.

Ok, after downloading, I can say this much:

1. The link is still active
2. Guide is very thorough, it is 89 pages long.
3. It gives advice for beginners to set up a server, and good installation advice and instructions
4. Spreading methods are fresh and seem quite viable. either low or no cost required.
5. Some links at the end are broken, like links to paid bot threads, but you can search for these online

Overall, big props to OP for putting this up. Grab this file while you still can.
