Can't change my signature

Hi Guys, I've been trying to change my signature since yesterday, but  nothing seems to work. I'd like to put a gif but it doesn't show up, I thought it was a problem of the gifs itself, so I tried to put some random emojis to see if it would change, but no, nothing happens. I click on update but it doesn't update, I've had this stupid signature that doesn't work for 3 days now and I don't know how to fix it. Could anyone help me out? I would gladly appreciate it

you have to press the setting icon button and then type that in the thing that is in your signature currently
