When I was 16, I used every computer in my high school to create a botnet. It started as a game, but soon the network became unstable and teachers couldn't access their lesson plans.
The school's IT caught on and reported me to the authorities. I was arrested and sentenced to two years probation.
During that time, I worked hard to make up for my mistakes.
I attended counseling sessions, classes on ethics, and volunteered at a non-profit organization. Years later, I earned a degree in computer science and saw a job posting for an IT position at my old high school. I knew I had the skills to make a positive impact on the school's technology systems despite my past. After applying, the school was impressed with my qualifications and dedication to making things right. I got the job, and over time, I built up a strong reputation as a reliable and trustworthy IT professional in my area.
