I am making this post due to the large amount of LQ posts in the programming channel. These are my personal opinions however I feel that following a format may increase the overall quality.
How To Ask a Question?
1. What is your issue?
2. What have you tried before and what have you tried from a simple google search?
3. Post your Code
4. What errors are you getting (post a full error log)
DO NOT DELETE YOUR POST ONCE ITS BEEN SOLVED, LEAVE IT FOR OTHERS THAT HAVE THE SAME ISSUE
How To Ask for Resources?
1. What are you trying to learn?
2. What have you found from a google search?
3. What have you tried?
4. What programming languages do you know? (or want to learn)
How To Share Your Own Code/Projects?
1. What did you do?
2. What does the user need to install?
3. What issues did you come across, how did you defeat those issues?
4. A Link to your code (https://www.github.com/ or some pasting service)
5. Any resources you found helpful
How To Make a Tutorial?
1. What will you learn in this writeup?
2. What you will need for your coding project
3. What are the steps you took?
4. Share code & Resources
5. Include a link to the full source code and mention how to fix common bugs so beginners have a chance to learn.
Feel free to modify & make improvements. This is just a rough sketch for how posts should maybe look, espically the posts where a user has issues.
