Network Analysis Hardware
Network analysis hardware is the equipment used for MONITORING and recording signals without changing traffic. These hardware or devices can monitor and detect malicious traffic created by the hacker. Their primary task is to capture traffic, data, decrypt them, and analyze content according to predefined rules.
Fluk test is an example of this type of test using FLUKE products superior to other similar tests since the information output from this device is far more than other testers. . In this type of testing, in addition to the feasibility of the cables, equipment and fittings along the route and standards are also examined and stored inside the device and finally, a complete report can be obtained.

Wiremap

The use of Wiremap is to identify physical bugs. like the:
  • Correct installation of sockets at the end of the cable
  • Any short circuit between two or more strings of cable
  • Definitive 1 or more strings
  • Correct layout of strings and so on
Propagation Delay
The length of time a signal is transmitted from one end of the cable to the other, measured in milliseconds, nanoseconds, picosecends.
Delay Skew
The Propagation Delay difference between the fastest and slowest couples is called Delay Skew, which is usually between 25-30 nanoseconds (nSec) per 100 meters of cable.
Cable Lenght
This parameter ensures that the cable length does not exceed 100 meters.
Insertion Loss
Indicates the amount of signal loss at the end of a line relative to the initial Insertion Loss generated on the line by the electrical resistance of the copper cable or by the loss of insulation on the cable or the impedance of the connectors. This parameter is usually denoted in dB with a minus sign (-). This increases with increasing cable length and frequency.
Return Loss
The amount of signal sent back to the transmitter. This value of the return signal is caused by the impedance difference of the cable or connector, which is usually caused by the cable being over-stretched or the connector being defective.
  Near End-Cross Talk NEXT
The rate of transmission of one pair's signal on the return signal of another pair is called NEXT.
  Powe Sum NEXT PS NEXT
The sum of NEXT 3 pairs on the other pair is called PSNEXT.
  The Equal-Level Far-End Crosstalk ELFEXT
The value of FEXT is called the end of each line. FEXT in practice is very similar to NEXT except it happens at the end of the cable (at the receiver side).
  ower Sum ELFEXT
The sum of the FEXT value of 3 pairs on the other pair is called PSELFEXT.
  Attenuation-to-Crosstalk ratio ACR
The difference between the signal loss and NEXT, measured in dB, indicates the amount of signal loss power relative to the Crosstalk endpoint. Normally the ACR should be around 7dB so that we can get a good cable performance. Sometimes we need to use ShieldedTwisted Pair (STP) cables instead of UnshieldedTwisted Pair (UTP) to increase ACR.
Power Sum ACR PSACR
It is similar to ACR except that PSNEXT is used for testing.
  DC Loop Resistance
The amount of resistance on a pair that is looped at the end of the cable is usually affected by impedance, this parameter is usually less effective than InsertionLoos, but it plays a role in certain situations, for example when using PoE.
What is a Span Port?
This hardware port is used to monitor the network on the switch, and the switch sends a copy of all the information transmitted to it. However, some protocols do not send information such as CDP, VTP, DTP, BPDU, STP.

The port can be plugged directly into a computer for monitoring, and the hacker can physically access and monitor all transmitted information.
What is Wiretapping?
In a word, it means recording and controlling a series of conversations (eavesdropping) that are used to listen to wired or internet telephony information and are commonly used for wired phones. This interception is also active (this model is recording information with changes in the communication) and passive (this model is recording information without any changes) and is legally by the government or illegally by a third party Done.
