Pi is still currently a BETA project so in order to start mining you have to have an invite code once making your profile in the app (don't worry I have one for you!! code: rafat)
The faster you get in on this project the higher your mining rate will be! Pi just reached 100k users causing the mining rate to halve, another mining rate halving will take place when the project meets 1 million users, so get in as soon as possible so you can acquire as many coins as you can before pi goes public on crypto trading marketplaces!
To start, you need to navigate to Pi's website w w w dot minepi dot com, from there you can read the FAQ for a more detailed explanation of the project and what its goal is for the next few years if you have any questions about the validity of this project.
You can download the Pi mining app from the Apple app store or the Google play store by searching for "Pi Network"
After downloading you will have to sign in with facebook or a phone number to verify you're a human, then you have to enter an invite code (because its in beta like i said earlier) in order to start mining pi.

Once inside the app, there is a tutorial on how exactly the process works as well as an in-depth article entitled "white pages" where the creators of the crypto coin explain in incredible detail how they started the project, how it all works, and their future goals for pi coin.
