I'm new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post.
If not, then I apologize in advance.

I came upon this link from google: https://weekly-geekl...5869/index.html ,which was exactly the file I was looking for - a leak of myspace accounts in 2013 - and I proceeded to download it via utorrent, but after downloading it, I couldn't open the file.

WinRAR and 7zip just couldn't open it.. and even changing its extension to something like .txt, even wordpad doesn't open it.. I mean, never mind the password thing, no app could open this file...

Could someone help me on this? :(
And I tried from other sites that had this file, but still the same thing.

It is a SQL database file. Do some epic googling and you'll figure it out.

Edit:

Or did you not notice the password for the rar?

No, it's nothing to do with the password, it's that I just can't open the file.
I tried WinRAR and 7zip, but they just couldn't open it.

I also did some google search after your reply, and apparently I had to have MySQL server or something (??) to actually read zipped .sql files??  thinking Since I'm quite new to the sql thing, I guess it might probably take a lot of work on my end... I need to do all that?? I just need someone to confirm..

I mean, I have accessed .sql files before, using wordpad, notepad++ etc.. but this is something else..
And I'm kind of clueless now, lol.
