is there any guide here on best improving security of the computers we own?

i ran across a tutorial on it but cannot find it any more Pepe

First security starts infront of your computer. Dont do real life related stuff on your crime computer.
Use VeraCrypt to decrypt your HDD. SSD's can be decrypted too, but its not safe because of how SSD writes data.
Next install VmWare and use for Browsing, Chatting, Tools etc each on a own VM.

i appreciate you. would you consider windows on a VM unsafe? or will you suggest going linux?

and not here for any blackhat activities. here to learn how to further protect ourselves from crime. might dabble around for fun but self-security is my main key.

Also, if you're using Nord VPN, they've been compromised https://techcrunch.com/2019/10/21/nordvp...as-hacked/

Probably best to reinstall and change passwords etc
