Preferring next time a middleman or an escrow service.
I've developed in the past https://cerberus.market which has escrow service inbuild, try to deal next time there if you think the seller is untrusted.

You are right, we all should use https://cerberus.market . Problem is with the service and middleman, it's very time consuming when you just can deal directly on discord.
