Yea that sucks they are doing that. people with forgotten passwords or don't remember what services/website they use to log in with it can lose important emails and things of that nature

People often use max 2 emails, if for some reason they didn't log once every 2 years to the accounts, then something went wrong irl or they abandoned them.
