From what I know, poly is where you're in a relationship with as many people as you need, to have all your needs met as much as you desire. No more of this, being heartbroken and without sex and romance bull shit I'm hearing about all the time...there's even polyamory couples apparently. Which is interesting to me, it reminds me of a 3rd world village I heard of once
This village has orgies like every weekend or month. And everyone's parents everyone's kids...its interesting concept to me. What I liked about it is, when you involve that many people, you're not stuck accepting the shortcomings of one person.
So in poly, say your girl #1 sucks at the bus but is great at riding and u rly want one, boom-too girl #2 who's great at BJs and sucks at riding but let's say girl #1 & #2 r both socially inept and emotionally distant, boom go-to girl #3 and now you're getting your physical and social and emotional needs met. And whenever ur need comes up again, just go to the person who can fulfill it...and the best part is, it's the same for them as it is for you...when they want their needs met that you can fulfill or when you're gone having yours met with another, they have others can reach out to for what you do and what you do not do.
No more of this, loathsome disdain, tolerating something because they fulfill one need but hating them for much more. When you have 10 other people, you're not afraid to leave that one person, ur not..walking off into an abyss of loneliness, knowing you won't get what you need from them and thinking maybe you never will be able to anymore with anyone else. A family that you can trust, stability and openness ?
