I have finger tattoos, snakebites and stretched ears and everyone always said it would affect my career. Well they were wrong that is for sure. 

I personally just see them as a way of expression. Just the older generations have a stroke over them

I just started stretching my ear. And I work in a lot of stuff. But guess what most of my partners and customers were like "Wow cool ,  never met a guy that does business and has stretched ears" . So that clearly says that looks doesn't mean it will affect your business or career.

Trying not to dox myself but I work for a global news company as a marketing executive. I travel and talk to hundreds of different people throughout the year and it has never affected me. I've had my ears stretched for 6 years, only at 10mm though but I love em.

I dont have any but i dont really think much about them. It's just something people use to express themselves

I have nothing against piercing and tattoo. I think it's a way to show your personality, a way to express yourself.
