Refunded a Macbook Pro in like 2016. Didn't realise people were still doing this I thought Amazon cracked down on it pretty hard?

I've done quite a few amazon refunds, with maximum totals for one refund reaching £100, I want to try and have a go at Beoplay E8 2.0 but I'm afraid £300 is a hefty sum.
What are the highest you guys have reached? So I can see whether I'm in favour of receiving a refund.

I'm from the UK by the way, so feedback on UK refunds woulaudd be better

I also want to build a home theater based on a projector. I already have a network audio system, I just need to choose a good projector. I am considering models under $ 1,500. Now I am reading an article about how long projectors serve. On Amazon I have not yet had a return.
