im using the simple old malwarebytes and eset

It might seem crazy, but using third-party antivirus is not a good idea. My arguments are as follows:
All this virus is not as worrisome as before, unless you have too much classified information on your computer or you are the Pentagon, I always recommend using the antivirus that brings windows by default (defend) today is more than enough and can compete with any antivirus (microsoft has done a good job fortunately), something else to get away from antivirus, is that they are extremely intrusive and in more than one occasion they will end up damaging a file just because they suspect it is a virus or Trojan when in fact it is not like that, they also use many computer resources when they are running either in the foreground or in the background.

The best antivirus is common sense, do not browse strange or fraudulent websites, avoid clicking on emerging advantages and of course avoid in any way execute any file or program of doubt origin.

Therefore my recommendation would be the following: Common sense >> Windows Defender and if you are a security obsecive >> Malwarebytes for possible Ransomwares

I suggest using windows defender, its best. You dont really need to bother with antivirus.
