trying to use a virtual machine without visual virtualization for netflix cracking

can you use a VM without hardware virtualization? i attempted to try out VirtualBox for Netflix cracking and ran into problems turns out i need hardware virtualization enabled but i can't enable it. are they any methods of using one that doesn't require this?  do i really need virtual machine to Netflix crack?
