Love, love this show!  It does a great job of being a family drama, yet exciting with superhero action.  I don't want to spoil too much for you, since you're only on season 1.  But season 2 is perhaps better in some ways.  It naturally introduces a few new characters who add a lot to the humour in particular.  It's somewhat funnier in general than season 1 with another great story about this family.  Keep watching.

Amazing show. Agree with the above poster, I felt season 2 was better as well. I would also like to add that the ending of S1 kind of left a sour taste in my mouth, but S2 killed, and the ending was far better as well.
