Does this stuff actually work? Or is it just rehashing the same "guide" over and over again?

Can anyone confirm that they have actually successfully used this method?

EDIT: Ok, so now that I managed to access the "guide"... it's basically, "lie to customer support while requesting a refund"... seriously? That is it? What a waste of time.
