My tips for low budget travel are: Don't eat three meals a day. Travel in the off-season. Avoid popular tourist destinations. Share your trip (and its costs) with a friend or family member. Buy tours in advance. My last travel was in Armenia. I bought one of One Way Tour's travel packages https://onewaytour.com/repeating-tours/ . It was very affordable!

Choose places closer to you and try to go visit natural places or little towns/villages insted of going always for the bigger things

I think a bit part of it is just choosing a country with a great exchange rate. Eg. if you live in North America, most places in Asia would be great for you.
