I still remember hearing of people who just get in the shower and turn it on, then wait for it to warm up. That is a level of bravery I am unable to achieve...

Well, tbh, I hate not having a shower cabin and only a damn bathtub so I can practice this. Anyway Ik that this is a shitty excuse, I hope I will get rid of this laziness

Tip: Soak from the bottom gradually to the top, start from your feet -> knee -> belly -> shoulder -> head instead of showering directly from the head. It helps you adapt to the cold and is also safer.

I think I read somewhere that you should vary the cold bursts with warm bursts for your body to reset?

Cold showers are amazing real late at night as well, right before you go to bed take a cold shower so when you get in bed it feels a lot better

What I like to do is take a nice warm shower, then wash my hair and face in cold water. You are right nonetheless, cold showers are especially good for men and it is something I should practice. The cold ain’t that bad after your body adjusts! Like jumping into a pool.
