It will be here for a long time but as for when the country will go back to a somewhat normal state, it won't be until there's a proper vaccine and cure for it which is months away

hi there

In my opinion this virus will stay with us for long.
Nobody can assure humans will find a vaccine. We don´t even have one for common flu so maybe we won´t get a covid vaccine neither.

World will change, our style of life is over.

As soon as we realize that, we take measures to minimize deaths, contagion and keep living.

Thats sad but seems the way things happens.

Most probably SARS-CoV-2 will never go away... It's gonna install in humans society like the other 6 (known) corona viruses have done,
As immunity slowly builds up it won't be of an issue like the common flu is... yet most likely this needs around two years to be done unless off course a working vaccine is developed (not likely to happen though cause this is an RNA virus).
So,going back to normality will take around couple of years imho.

As far as I know, it can come and go. Remember the Spanish Flu and other non-COVID-19 outbreaks that occurred in the past decades?

At first, everyone was panicking that it’s the end. But sooner more people was confident and made a cure for it.

And remember Smallpox? It was so massive that many, many, many people tried to develop their own cures for it. Then an official cure came and it went out.

We humans defeated them, even the deadly ones. So if we can do that. We can beat Covid-19. It’ll come and go. But don’t expect it to go away for at least about a month or two. Currently, the US has the massive amount of cases.

The US has over 100K recoveries and it’s closer to 200K. Currently the recovery jumps are at least 8K-10K a day. Keep hoping and one day, we will defeat it.
