I would say that this isn't necessarily a method but more of a guide (wich isn't a bad thing)
it goes in depth trying to explain every stats of youtube with images helping you understand
it explains also how to try to maximise your stats to make your videos more popular

I earned on youtube $5000 monthly back in the days using just monetization. Now things are really bad like $500 monthly. Not quite sure if your guide can bring something new.
I mean if there are just generic words like follow trends, use tags - it's not real guide

It depends on your strategy at the moment and where your traffic comes from (home scrren, suggested, search etc.). Some content is definitely more suited for beginners. And overall I would say the main customer target are beginners and intermediate. Through other traffic sources people who are experienced told me that they learnt something new, it's your decision.
