This game a big disappointment for many players. Many of them even pre-ordered it. 
The trailers, also the trailer memes and stuff made it super popular and people expected something really good.
Turned out to be "trash" as people above said.

It's pointless to release a game with old engine (the result of way too long development) and with many many serious bugs in the code.
And yet they released it even tho it's far from what you can call FINAL product.

I think the problem was because GTA 5 is to good.

it's like compare any player to ronaldo or messi.

The players are good, but they are ET.

It didn't fill up the expectations but i guess it is still a very good game, especially its story is more than great.

To me the game was never gonna live up to its insane hype. And honestly if the game would´ve been bug free or mostly at least, it would have been
just a good game.

I played it, I honestly did not finish it, but I fail to see why all the hype. I much prefer Deus Ex in this genre.
