I wonder if setting up some kind of macro to visit sites would increase your gain? It claims that it uses unused traffic data when you're connected, but it doesn't say if you have to be browsing or if the computer has to be idle..

It can be either. It earns when I'm using my PC and when I leave it on overnight. You just have to be connected to your internet in general.
