Today I dedicate myself to one of the most important questions!
Disclaimer: everything is written relatively easy to understand, I left out things like ISP etc. (would go beyond the scope)
What is the best VPN provider?
Everyone has already read about it, heard it or seen the annoying advertisements on Youtube & Co: “Anonymous on the Internet with [RandomName]VPN”.
But what is a VPN anyway?
A VPN (short for Virtual Private Network) is, simply put, a system that acts as a middleman for your Internet traffic. But many are not aware that this "middleman" can read, write down & change everything.
Example (without VPN):
Peter opens Youtube.com
Computer => YouTube.com server
Example (with VPN):
Peter opens his VPN & then Youtube.com
Computer => VPN => YouTube.com Server
The VPN is between you (your data) and the server, and as I said, the VPN can read, write & change everything.
Of course, this is no longer such a huge problem in the age of SSL, but VPNs can record all connections you have made via them.
As a result, the sender can be traced despite a VPN.
But do not worry (be Happy), there is hope, some providers have configured their VPN servers in such a way that there is no active storage of data.
or rather, data is stored that:
1. Are encrypted
2. Deleted after restart
But how do i know which one is an anonym VPN? (Own Opinion with Proof)
100% Surely no one can say that, only the Owner nows the real Configuration.
But Companies like Perfect-Privacy.com have shown in the past that anonym VPNs exist & are bulletproof.
Server seizure in Rotterdam | Perfect Privacy (perfect-privacy.com)
I always say "You cant go wrong with Perfect Privacy"
If you have anything to attach, please feel free to continue, perhaps i will add it.
