It's a good idea. You should host people good at something, like graphic designers, coders, social engineers and crackers, have them talk about their experience, their view on the community, the marketplace or whatever they're into. You may even try to invite people from other communities, as long as they're not banned or toxic. Don't focus on the staff only, you'll easily run out of questions and guests.
